The speech of the colourful stones (SCS) project is a community awareness and fundraising project funded by the Attorney General’s office under the Resilience Community Program.
This program is designed to support communities across Victoria to build their capability to prepare for, withstand and recover from all types of trauma.
The project aims to raise awareness and promote harmony through our community by building bridges with children, parents, and community members. One component of this project is to create a glass and colourful stones mosaic, which will be auctioned at a fundraising dinner at the end of this project to help SYRIAN refugees.
The mosaic component of the project will be made over a three workshops ( two days each). These workshops will be coordinated by an Artist in Residence (Anissa Sharif).
